Hello! Let us introduce ourselves:
we are Paul and Lynn, and we will be your guides while you explore the 7 fields of English for Agricultural Engineering (EAE).

We will help you to keep track of where you are in our web site. Right now, you are at our Welcome Page . We will also make sure you always find the right direction while "walking" into each of the 7 fields of English for Agricultural Engineering (EAE).

"Walking"? Yes! You will study EAE as deeply as possible; in that sense, you will "walk" into EAE. This web site has been created by your teacher, Marta Conejero, to help you "walk" correctly, effectively and safely into the 7 fields or 7 essential areas of  EAE: 1-the field of grammar, 2-the  field of  vocabulary, 3-the  field of  pronunciation, 4-the  field of the 4 skills, 5-the  field of functional and useful language, 6-the  field of  revision and 7-the  field of  motivation and student training.

Through the frequently updated sections of this site, which has been built exclusively for you, we will keep you

  • informed about how to improve your EAE fast and pleasantly;
  • busy, with lots of interesting activities, exercises, etc...,  and
  • permanently motivated, so that you can become a competent user of World Wide Effective EAE!

Your teacher will make your learning process at the U. P.V. as pleasurable as possible.

On this site you will have a special page for publishing your articles, interviews and written exercises in general; some oral exercises will be included too. You will have weekly opportunities to participate, and Marta will encourage you to do so on a regular basis.

"Imagine a 21st century green revolution for agriculture that, unlike its 20th century forerunner, does not depend on petrochemicals, deforestation and enormous inputs of water to fuel its growth, but instead focuses on something that has largely disappeared from the world—extension—or training farmers in good practices," said Tensie Whelan, president of the Rainforest Alliance, during her remarks at the Sintercafé annual coffee conference in Costa Rica..."
